McLaren Thumb Region in Bad Axe, Mich., selected Norman Chapin, MD, to serve as CMO, according to the Huron Daily Tribune.
Here are three notes:
1. Dr. Chapin was previously as vice president for quality improvement and process improvement at Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health.
2. Prior to that, he worked as an emergency physician in New York.
3. Dr. Chapin earned his medical degree at Michigan State College of Human Medicine in East Lansing.
