Sisters of Providence Health System in Springfield, Mass., has appointed Daniel Moen as president and CEO, according to a WWLP report.
Mr. Moen will begin work at the health system in January. He will leave his position as president and CEO of Haywood Hospital in Gardner, Mass., a job he has held since 1990.
In his new position, Mr. Moen will oversee the entire healthcare system, including Mercy Medical Center, Providence Behavioral Health Hospital, Weldon Rehabilitation Hospital and Mercy's Continuing Care Network.
William Bithoney, MD, has served as interim president and CEO since Vincent McCorkle left Sisters of Providence for an opportunity in Akron, Ohio, in June.
