Craig Marks, president of Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, Calif., has resigned, according to a Calaveras Enterprise report.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Marks.
1. The hospital, which is operated by San Francisco-based Dignity Health, confirmed Mr. Marks' resignation, but did not disclose further details, citing a "personnel matter."
2. Mr. Marks was named president of MTMC in May 2012.
3. During his tenure at MTMC, the hospital opened new centers for heart and cancer patients and planned for the expansion of community clinics, according to the report.
