Health Choice, a Memphis-based managed care organization, has appointed George Mayzell, MD, as CEO, according to a Modern Healthcare report.
Most recently, Dr. Mayzell served as senior vice president and chief patient care officer for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and CMO of Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital.
Health Choice is a joint venture between MetroCare Physicians and Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare that connects hospitals, physicians, outpatient facilities, affiliated healthcare professionals and ancillary services.
