Madelia (Minn.) Community Hospital and Clinic selected Jeff Mengenhausen to serve as administrator and CEO, according to a post on the hospital's official Facebook page.
Here are five notes:
1. Mr. Mengenhausen previously served as senior executive director of the Heart and Vascular Institute at Regional Health in Rapid City, S.D.
2. He has also served as CEO of Crook County Hospital in Sundance, Wyo., and COO of Horizon Health Care in Howard, S.D.
3. He is a former U.S. Navy SEAL.
4. He holds an MBA from American Intercontinental University.
5. Mr. Mengenhausen succeeds Candace Fenske, who retired.
