Luminis Health, a Maryland-based integrated health system, named Timothy Adelman its general counsel and chief legal officer, effective Oct. 28.
Luminis Health comprises Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md., and Doctors Community Health System in Lanham, Md.
Mr. Adelman most recently worked as a managing partner at Indianapolis-based Hall, Render, Killian, Heath and Lyman, a healthcare law firm.
He has served on the boards of the Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation and the American Health Lawyers Association. He chairs the American Health Lawyers Association's 2030 task force on the evolution of healthcare and health law.
Mr. Adelman earned his law degree from University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in Baltimore and his MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business in College Park.
