Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals has announced the promotions of one vice president and six senior directors.
The promotions to senior director include the following:
• Brett Coco has been promoted from director to senior director of liability claims. He has been a member of LifePoint since 2009. Mr. Coco previously served HCA Healthcare as director of insurance.
• Jack DaBell has been promoted from director to senior director of the tax department. He has served LifePoint since 2009. Previously, Mr. DaBell served Deloitte Tax as a senior manager.
• Walt Franz has been promoted from director to senior director of managed care. He has served LifePoint since 2007. Mr. Franz previously served Delek US/Mapco Express as director of pricing.
• Jake Gourley has been promoted from director to senior director of revenue cycle operations. He has served LifePoint since 2005. Mr. Gourley previously served as a project manager with G&A Revenue Cycle Management.
• Michael Greer has been promoted from director to senior director of regulatory and accreditation. A member of LifePoint since 2006, he previously served as a manager of quality for HCA Healthcare.
• Tom Pezanosky has been promoted from director to senior director of reimbursement. A member of LifePoint since 2003, he previously served HCA Healthcare's Dallas area as reimbursement coordinator of its reimbursement office.
Michael Grooms was promoted as well. He will serve as vice president of financial reporting. Previously, Mr. Grooms served as a senior director. Prior to joining LifePoint in 2006, he served Delek as a controller and KPMG as a senior auditor.
