LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Va., has named Rex Etheredge interim CEO, according to a report by The Roanoke Times.
Mr. Etheredge was named to the position following the departure of Victor Giovanetti who has taken up the role of COO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals' eastern group of hospitals.
Mr. Etheredge previously served as interim CEO of LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, Va., according to the report.
