James Kaskie, president and CEO of Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health and Great Lakes Health System of Western New York, has resigned from his position in both organizations, effective immediately.
Kaleida Health is part of the Great Lakes Health System of Western New York.
Mr. Kaskie joined Kaleida Health in 2004 and was named president in 2006. In 2007, he was selected as CEO of Great Lakes Health.
Jody Lomeo, CEO of Erie County Medical Center, also part of Great Lakes Health, will serve as interim CEO of both Kaleida Health and Great Lakes Health. He will continue to serve ECMC in addition to his new positions.
