Walnut Creek, Calif.-based John Muir Health has named Thomas August the system's CISO. Mr. August assumed his duties April 13.
Before joining John Muir Health, Mr. August was director of information security at San Diego, Calif.-based Sharp HealthCare. He also previously held IT security positions at Sony Corp. of America and Pacific Life Insurance Company.
