In August, John DeNardo will retire as CEO of University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago and associate vice president of health affairs for the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, according to a Crain's Chicago Business report.
Mr. DeNardo will take a position at the UIC School of Public Health, serving as director of the healthcare administration master's degree program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
He has served as CEO of the hospital since 2000, before which he held positions at hospitals under the Department of Veterans Affairs. A replacement for Mr. DeNardo has not been named.
