Hutchinson (Kan.) Regional Healthcare System appointed Wes Hoyt COO, according to The Hutchinson News.

1. Mr. Hoyt has extensive experience in the U.S. Military. He was last stationed in Italy for U.S. Army Africa, serving as executive vice president of healthcare operations.
2. He has also led Army medical units in combat.
3. In his new role, Mr. Hoyt is responsible for hospital operations. In particular, he will oversee the completion of the hospital's new intensive care unit.
