Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Md., named Jennifer C. Baldwin, RN, vice president of nursing and chief nursing officer, effective May 13.
Three points:
1. Ms. Baldwin comes to Howard County General Hospital from CareFirst, a Maryland-based insurer, where she served as senior vice president of patient-centered medical home and care management.
2. She has 35 years of nursing experience at several healthcare organizations, including Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System.
3. Ms. Baldwin is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore.
