Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Ohio, has appointed Karen Shadowens vice president of finance and CFO.
Ms. Shadowens, a certified public accountant, most recently served as director of finance and CFO of West Chester (Ohio) Hospital.
Ms. Shadowens received an MBA from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
