Ginger Fisher, RN, BSN, has joined Utah Valley Specialty Hospital, a 40-bed long-term acute care hospital based in Provo, as COO.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Fisher.
1. She has more than 35 years of healthcare experience as a registered nurse, with more than 17 years in nursing administration.
2. Prior to joining Utah Valley Specialty Hospital, she was director of nursing operations and case management, and regional director of nursing and respiratory operations for Albuquerque, N.M.-based Ernest Health.
3. During her career, Ms. Fisher has managed a step-down adult intensive care unit, a neonatal intensive care unit and a medical/surgical adult intensive care unit.
4. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and a master's degree in public administration from Brigham Young University in Provo.
