University Health Care System in Augusta, Ga., has named former chief nurse Marilyn Bowcutt as senior vice president and COO, according to an Augusta Chronicle report.
Ms. Bowcutt has served as vice president of patient care services at University Hospital since 1986. As the hospital's chief nursing officer, she also led the hospital toward its designation as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the highest professional honor for nurses, according to the report.
