Former Jefferson Health CEO appointed to DocGo board 

DocGo has appointed Stephen Klasko, MD, as chair of its board of directors.

Dr. Klasko is a special advisor at General Catalyst, where he plays a key role in helping the firm identify and invest in innovative healthcare solutions aimed at improving access and outcomes. He joined the venture capital firm in 2022. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health for eight years. 

Dr. Klasko succeeds Steven Katz, who resigned from the DocGo board Sept. 25. Mr. Katz will remain on as consultant through the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition, according to a Sept. 30 news release sent to Becker's

DocGo, a telehealth and mobile health company, is worth $3.6 billion, placing it among the 12 most valuable digital health companies.
