Tavares-based Florida Hospital Waterman appointed Michael Stimson, BSN, chief nursing officer, effective July 9.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Stimson most recently served as chief nursing officer at Manchester (Ky.) Memorial Hospital.
2. Prior to that, he was director of the emergency department and operating room at Manchester Memorial.
3. He holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix.
4. Mr. Stimson succeeds Lynn Kirman, who is retiring.
