Peter Weiss, MD, has been appointed president of Florida Hospital Healthcare System, based in Orlando, according to a Space Coast Medicine report.
Dr. Weiss joins FHHS from Health First in Rockledge, Fla., where he has served in various capacities for the past 12 years, including vice president and medical director; president/COO and then CEO, according to the report. Dr. Weiss' duties at FHHS go into effect at the end of October.
