G. Thomas Holland, MD, was appointed CMO of Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport, N.C.
He succeeds Brad Hilaman, MD, who is retiring in December.
Dr. Holland has served as a staff physician at Dosher for more than 23 years, a Nov. 1 news release said. His past leadership roles at the hospital include chief of staff and director of the Dosher Skilled Nursing Center. He also played a key role in establishing a primary care clinic that is now part of the Dosher network.
"Dr. Holland has been a very active member of our medical staff for over two decades, serving in several leadership positions, and he is the right physician to provide strategic direction for the future of our organization," Dr. Hilaman said.
