Doctors Hospital of Sarasota (Fla.) selected Peter Hemstead to serve as COO.
Three things to know:
1. Mr. Hemstead was assistant administrator at Brandon (Fla.) Regional Hospital.
2. He also served on helicopter search and rescue teams as part of the U.S. Coast Guard.
3. He holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
