St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, N.H., has announced that David Ross is leaving his post as president and CEO, effective immediately.
Mr. Ross is returning to Missouri to attend personal family matters, according to the release. He joined St. Joseph Hospital in April 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Ross served as president and CEO of Barnes-Jewish St. Peters (Mo.) Hospital.
According to the release, James Hamill will begin serving as interim CEO immediately. Mr. Hamill most recently served as president and CEO of Meritus Health in Hagerstown, Md., from 2000 to 2011. Under his leadership, Meritus Health was among the first truly clinically integrated systems recognized by the Federal Trade Commission, according to the release.
St. Joseph's board of directors will begin the search for a permanent replacement in the coming weeks, according to the release.
