Houston-based Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital has appointed Lisa Cox, RN, BSN, MSN, as its new chief nursing officer, according to a Cypress Creek Mirror report.
Ms. Cox joined the hospital in 2001 and has supervised nursing areas, including the hospital's women's health center. She's also been responsible for overseeing staffing coordinators and nursing supervisors, as well as managing pediatric, medical, surgical and telemetry services.
She is currently pursuing a doctorate in nursing from Texas Tech University.
