Springfield, Mo.-based CoxHealth has promoted Ashley Casad to senior vice president of system operations and president of its Springfield hospitals.
Ms. Casad has served the health system since 2020, most recently as vice president of clinical services, according to a Jan. 24 news release. She played a key role during the pandemic as deputy incident commander for CoxHealth's COVID-19 planning and response.
Prior to joining CoxHealth, Ms. Casad served Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Her new role is effective Jan. 30.
