Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp., a consulting and management firm for smaller hospitals, has added five new executives to its leadership team in response to a growing client base.
"We are fortunate to have such a wealth of talent join our CHC family," said Mike Williams, president and CEO of CHC, in a news release. "We added to our team to better serve our clients and meet the needs of community hospitals and healthcare providers across the country."
Christy Carver is now regional vice president for post-acute services. She has more than 10 years of healthcare management and clinical experience and was most recently administrator for Baylor Emergency Medical Center at Keller (Texas).
Shonta Hunt is now CHC's supply chain manager. She most recently served as a value analysis/financial analyst at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. There, she managed the procurement of clinical and nonclinical products and services.
Deanna Lankford becomes billing manager for post-acute services. She has been in long-term acute-care billing for more than eight years and was most recently the business development coordinator for Plano (Texas) Specialty Hospital.
Nancy Lloyd is now the director of human resources for post-acute services, serving CHC's ContinueCARE division. She has more than 20 years of HR experience.
Barbara Watson, a nurse with more than 20 years of experience as a nursing executive, became senior vice president of clinical services for CHC. She was most recently CNO of Methodist Texsan Hospital – Methodist Healthcare System-San Antonio.
