Sharon Rominger, CNO of Longmont (Colo.) United Hospital, will retire this week, according to a Longmont Times-Call report.
Ms. Rominger, who started her nursing career in 1965, is credited with launching several initiatives at LUH over the course of her career, including adoption of a special care model to improve patients' experiences and an online BSN program that was launched in partnership with the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley.
