Sheila Miller, DNP, RN, was named chief nursing officer at Cleveland Clinic London. Dr. Miller will bring more than 35 years of nursing experience to her role when she begins in February.
Most recently, Dr. Miller was CNO at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where she oversaw nursing strategy for the main hospital as well as a critical access hospital, three off-site emergency departments, a surgery center and several ambulatory sites, according to a Jan. 5 news release from the health system.
"Our nursing staff plays a critical role in providing world-class care to our patients, and we are thrilled that Sheila will join our London team," Meredith Foxx, MSN, APRN, executive CNO at Cleveland Clinic, said in the release. "The fast-paced, technologically advanced environment allows nurses to learn, grow and remain professionally challenged while shaping their careers based on their own interests."
