Lowell, Mass.-based Circle Health tapped Arthur Lauretano, MD, to serve as CMO, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Circle Health is an integrated community healthcare delivery system that includes Circle Home, Lowell General Hospital, Lowell Community Health Center and a community of local physicians.
Here are four takeaways:
1. An otolaryngologist, Dr. Lauretano has served on the medical staff of Lowell General Hospital for 20-plus years.
2. He is currently medical director of inpatient specialty services and the medical director of the otolaryngology multidisciplinary clinic at the cancer center. He will remain in these roles and integrate his current duties into his new role.
3. He has also provided care at Massachusetts ENT Associates in Chelmsford since 1997.
4. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and holds board certification in clinical informatics from the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
