Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives appointed Liz Youngblood, RN, division senior vice president and COO of its Texas Division, which includes 16 hospitals.
Four things to know:
1. Ms. Youngblood most recently served as CEO of the Jackson-based University of Mississippi Medical Center's adult hospitals.
2. She has prior experience serving as vice president of operations and administration at Dallas-based Baylor University Medical Center and as vice president of digestive disease and neuroscience service line at Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health's North Texas Division.
3. Ms. Youngblood is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. She holds an executive MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
