Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp. has named Lisa Young vice president and CFO of post-acute services, effective Oct. 19.
Here are six things to know about Ms. Young.
1. Ms. Young was brought on in response to CHC's growth in the long-term acute care hospital market. The company currently owns 10 long-term acute care hopsitals and one additional facility will open by early next year.
2. In her new position, Ms. Young will lead the financial performance of long-term acute care hospitals, as well as any post-acute care facility managed by CHC through its CHC ContinueCARE organization.
3. Ms. Young has more than two decades of financial management experience in healthcare and other industries.
4. She most recently was CFO of Irving, Texas-based Lumin Health.
5. Previously, she was CEO/CFO of Cardiovascular Specialties of North Texas & COR Management, manager and financial consultant for Tatum Partners and controller for several businesses including TienaHealth Medical Group.
6. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Tahlequah, Okla.-based Northeastern State University in Oklahoma.
