St. Joseph Health System in Bryan, Texas, has announced that Tony Pfitzer is no longer CEO, according to a KBTX report.
Reasons for Mr. Pfitzer's departure were not released. According to the report, the change in leadership is not due to impropriety or related to changes in affiliation with the Scott & White Health Plan in Texas.
Jim Pope, CEO of Sylvania Franciscan Health in Toledo, Ohio, the parent of St. Joseph Health, will temporarily serve as CEO.
