Stan Holm is no longer president and CEO of Olathe (Kan.) Health now that the health system has become part of the University of Kansas Health System, according to a system statement shared with Becker's.
Olathe Health, a two-hospital system, said the majority of its senior leadership team has transitioned to Kansas City-based University of Kansas Health System, and Mr. Holm and the health system "mutually agreed he will not continue with the new combined organization."
Mr. Holm had helmed the system since November 2018.
"Stan made significant contributions to the system, and we are grateful for his leadership and commitment to ensuring the community maintains a locally based, high-quality healthcare provider," the Olathe Health statement says. "His efforts will influence our continued acceleration and growth for years to come."
Olathe Health said Jason Hannagan, chief ambulatory/legal officer, will serve as interim CEO of Olathe Health.
Olathe Health signed a letter of intent to join the University of Kansas Health System, which includes more than 100 hospitals and clinics, in October 2022. On Jan. 5, Olathe Health announced that a final agreement was in place for the combined system.
"Together, with the University of Kansas Health System, we look forward to an exciting future and all that we will accomplish as one health system," Olathe Health said.
