CEO of South Carolina's Loris Healthcare to Resign

Timothy Browne has announced his resignation from president and CEO of Loris (S.C.) Healthcare System, according to a Sun News report.

Mr. Browne has served as CEO of LHS for nearly 13 years. He will serve throughout the end of the year and then become an adviser to the administration and board beginning in 2011.

Mr. Browne's decision was not the result of any problems in the system, according to the report.
