St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare has named Joan Magruder president of St. Louis Children's Hospital and John Antes president of Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. 
Louis.
Ms. Magruder joined BJC in 2000 as vice president of business development, physician services and alternate care sites. She has served as president of Missouri Baptist Medical Center since 2006 and will take her new position at St. Louis Children's Hospital on March 1.
Mr. Antes will succeed Ms. Magruder at Missouri Baptist Medical Center on March 18. He is currently president of Barnes-Jewish St. Peters (Mo.) Hospital and Progress West HealthCare Center in O'Fallon, Mo. He has been with BJC HealthCare since 2005.
A search is currently underway to replace Mr. Antes at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West.
