Detroit-based Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute has selected Margaret Dimond, PhD, as president, effective immediately.
Ms. Dimond most recently served as president and CEO of Flint, Mich.-based McLaren Medical Group.
She previously served as executive vice president and COO of Henry Ford Bi-County Hospital in Warren, Mich., assistant dean of finance and administration at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, and vice president of inpatient and ambulatory services of Detroit-based Henry Ford Hospital and Medical Group.
