Phoenix-based Banner-University Medical Center appointed two leaders for Banner-University Medical Center Tucson (Ariz.) and Banner-University Medical Center South, also in Tucson, according to an Inside Tucson Business report.
Here are five notes:
1. John Scherpf will serve as CEO of Banner-UMC Tucson and Banner-UMC South.
2. He has previously served as interim COO and associate administrator of the two hospitals.
3. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. Joni Raneri will serve as associate administrator for both hospitals.
5. Dr. Raneri holds a doctorate in physical therapy from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz.
