Ascension Health in St. Louis is reorganizing its top leaders following the launch of the new holding company Ascension Health Alliance, according to a St. Louis Business Journal report.
Anthony Tersigni, president and CEO of Ascension Health, will step down to lead at the helm of Ascension Health Alliance. Robert Henkel, president of healthcare operations and COO of Ascension Health, will succeed Mr. Tersigni as CEO.
According to the report, the launch of Ascension Health Alliance will allow other companies "to partner with or invest in" Ascension without actually becoming a part of it.
