Appalachian Regional Healthcare taps Dr. Anthony Stumbo as Floyd County regional community CMO

Lexington, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare named Anthony Stumbo, MD, regional community CMO for its hospitals in Floyd County.

Dr. Stumbo previously served as CMO of Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky., for 10 years. He has worked at the Highlands hospital for the last two decades.

In his new role, Dr. Stumbo will oversee the medical staff at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in McDowell (Ky.) and ARH Hospital and ARH Our Lady of the Way Hospital in Martin Ky.

He also will continue to see patients.
