The American Hospital Association has named eight new members to its board of trustees, effective Jan. 1, 2011, according to an AHA press release.
The new trustees are:
• James Diegel, president and CEO of St. Charles Health System in Bend, Ore.;
• Scott Duke, CEO at Glendive (Mont.) Medical Center;
• James Hinton, president and CEO of Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, N.M.;
• Jonathan Perlin, MD, president of clinical services and chief medical officer of HCA in Nashville, Tenn.;
• Roger Reamer, CEO of Memorial Health Care Systems in Seward, Neb.;
• Nancy Schlichting, president and CEO of Henry Ford Health System in Detroit;
• Michael Tarwater, CEO of Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, NC; and
• Sandra Wright, RN, CEO of Tyler County Hospital in Woodville, Texas.
