After PTO violation, Missouri hospital names new CEO, CFO: 4 notes

Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital in Maryland Heights, Mo., tapped Brett Moorehouse to serve as president and CEO and Ken Marx as CFO permanently.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Morehouse became interim president and CEO and Mr. Marx became interim CFO in May, following the resignations of Lauri Tanner and Jean Bardwell.

2. Ms. Tanner and Ms. Bardwell resigned after the hospital board discovered the executives violated the hospital's paid time off policy.

3. Mr. Morehouse was the hospital's COO before taking on interim president and CEO duties. He will continue to serve as COO in addition to his new permanent role.

4. Mr. Marx, a certified public accountant with 35 years of healthcare experience, has been a member of the hospital's board of directors since 2014. He stepped out of retirement to take on interim CFO responsibilities earlier in the year.
