9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Bentonville, Ark.-based Northwest Health appointed Hans Driessnack CEO of Northwest Medical Center-Springdale (Ark.), effective Dec. 3.

2. Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System selected Brad Holland to serve as president and CEO.

3. Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare appointed Sonia Mehta, MD, regional CEO of Lower Bucks Hospital.

4. Springfield, Pa.-based Crozer-Keystone Health System appointed Sharif Omar CEO after the sudden resignation of Patrick Gavin.

5. Medical City Healthcare tapped Jessica O'Neal to serve as CEO of Medical City Children's Hospital and Medical City Women's Hospital Dallas, effective Dec. 10. All entities are based in Dallas.

6. St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, N.C., appointed David Pope interim CEO

7. Hillsboro (Kan.) Community Hospital CEO Marion Regier is retiring.

8. Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger selected Jaewon Ryu, MD, to serve as interim president and CEO, effective Dec. 1.

9. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic selected Kent Thielen, MD, vice president of Mayo Clinic and CEO of Mayo Clinic's Florida campus in Jacksonville.
