9 Hospital and Health System Executive Moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves occurred within the past week, beginning with the most recent.

1. Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyo., selected Dalton Huber as CFO, effective March 17.

2. Hugh Hallgren, CEO of Sitka (Alaska) Community Hospital announced plans to retire in June, according to an Anchorage Daily News report.

3. Newman Regional Health in Emporia, Kan., selected Robert Wright as CEO, effective Feb. 1.

4. Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif., selected Joseph DeSchryver as CEO, according to a San Luis Obispo Tribune report.

5. Mark Reifsteck, president and CEO of Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System’s Southern Illinois Division, will step down from his position on Jan. 24, according to a St. Louis Business Journal report.

6. The Wisconsin Hospital Association named Eric Borgerding as president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2015.

7. Madison-based SSM Health Care of Wisconsin appointed Stewart Watson, MD, president and CEO of Dean Clinic, effective Feb. 10.

8. Madison-based SSM Health Care of Wisconsin appointed Damond Boatwright regional president and CEO of hospital operations of the health system, effective Feb. 10.

9. Cleveland-based Sisters of Charity Health System appointed Terrence Kessler CEO.
