The following seven CNO moves have been announced since June, starting with the most recent.
1. Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., named Robin Steaban, MSN, RN, as CNO of its hospital and clinics network.
2. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Hospital chose Taren Ruggiero, RN, MSN, as its new CNO.
3. Kenneth J. Rempher, PhD, RN, became the new CNO of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of Iowa City, effective July 15.
4. River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tenn., a part of the Capella-Saint Thomas system of hospitals, named Penny Kirby, RN, MSN, its new CNO.
5. Adventist Health, headquartered in Roseville, Calif., named Colleen Assavapisitkul, RN, the new CNO of St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake (Calif.).
6. Paula Davenport, BSN, became CNO of Birmingham, Ala.-based Princeton Baptist Medical Center on June 18.
7. North Arkansas Regional Medical Center hired Sammie Cribbs, RN, as the new CNO, effective July 1.
