5 latest hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

They are listed below:

1. Mount Airy, N.C.-based Northern Hospital of Surry County tapped Jason W. Edsall, MD, to serve as CMO, effective, Jan. 1.

2. John Lloyd, co-CEO of Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health, is retiring next week.

3. Charles Lucore, MD, former president and CEO of HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill., will become senior vice president for administration at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

4. Mission Hospital CEO Tarek Salaway is leaving the Mission Viejo, Calif.-based hospital to take a regional executive position with Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.

5. Edinburg, Texas-based Doctors Hospital at Renaissance selected Manish Singh, MD, to serve as CEO.
