36 latest hospital, health system executive moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week.

The moves are listed below, in alphabetical order by the executive's last name.

1. Carol Aaron, chief administrative officer of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth, will retire by the end of the year.

2. Patrick Ahearn is the CEO of Community Medical Center in Toms River, N.J.

3. West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health selected Nikolas Alexiades to serve as regional CFO for the Southern Region.

4. Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, N.J., appointed Carolyn Allen CFO.

5. Eureka Springs (Ark.) Hospital CEO Vicki Andert resigned, effective Feb. 18.

6. West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health named Bill Arnold president of the Southern Region.

7. Macon, Ga.-based Navicent Health named Omer Awan chief information and digital officer.

8. Hiawatha (Kan.) Community Hospital named John Broberg interim CEO.

9. Eric Carney is CEO of Monmouth Medical Center and The Unterberg Children's Hospital, both based in Long Branch, N.J.

10. Trinity Health in Minot, N.D., hired Anne B. Colwell to serve as vice president and chief human resources officer, effective March 1.

11. Douglas Coslett, MD, CMO of Wilkes-Barre (Pa.) General Hospital, is stepping down from his role to return to direct patient care.

12. Richard L. Davis is CFO of West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health's Northern Region and senior vice president and CFO of Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.

13. Dignity Health's Northridge (Calif.) Hospital Medical Center tapped Mark Dumais, MD, to serve as CMO, effective March 11.

14. St. Louis-based Ascension appointed Tamarah Duperval-Brownlee, MD, senior vice president and chief community impact officer, a newly created role, effective March 4.

15. Columbus, N.C.-based St. Luke's Hospital tapped Michelle Fortune to serve as CEO, effective March 4.

16. West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health named Vicente H. Gracias, MD, interim chief academic officer.

17. Debra Guido-Allen, RN, will serve as COO of Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak (Mich.).

18. CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, Tenn., selected Anthony A. Houston to serve as COO.

19. Diann Johnston, MSN, RN, is the regional chief nursing officer for the Southern Region of West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health and also chief nursing officer at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J.

20. Gail Koslya is the regional CFO of West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health's Central Region and senior vice president and CFO of RWJUH Hamilton (N.J.).

21. Mark Leonard will take on the COO role at Beaumont Hospital, Troy (Mich.).

22. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., named Timothy Liesching, MD, CMO.

23. West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Good Samaritan Medical Center selected Joseph Lopez-Cepero, BSN, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

24. Grand Forks, N.D.-based Altru Health System President Eric Lunn, MD, is retiring in March.

25. Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health selected John Mann, MD, to serve as president and COO of Novant Health Clemmons (N.C.) Medical Center.

26. West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health appointed Amy Mansue executive vice president and chief experience officer.

27. Doctors Hospital of Manteca (Calif.) selected Ryan Marshall to serve as CFO, effective Feb. 25.

28. Montefiore Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital selected Michael Novak to serve as vice president and COO.

29. Lisle, Ill.-based Amita Health tapped Dia Nichols to serve as president and CEO of Amita Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center Elk Grove Village (Ill.), effective March 19.

30. Aiken (S.C.) Regional Medical Centers hired Jim O'Loughlin, PhD, to serve as CEO, effective Feb. 27.

31. Rick Seidler, president and CEO of UnityPoint Health-Trinity, which has four hospitals in Illinois and Iowa, is retiring May 1.

32. Minneapolis-based Allina Health tapped Kelly Spratt to serve as president of Buffalo (Minn.) Hospital and Cambridge (Minn.) Medical Center, effective March 11.

33. Anne Stewart, RN, will assume the chief nursing officer role at for Beaumont, Royal Oak (Mich.).

34. Charles "Chuck" D. Stokes, president and CEO of Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System, will retire at the end of the year.

35. Richmond-based HCA Virginia Health System named Miah Stutts CFO of the Northern Virginia market, effective Feb. 25.

36. Wellington (Fla.) Regional Medical Center selected Pam Tahan to serve as CEO.
