Ballad Health and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center were among the hospitals and health systems that tapped new CFOs in September.
Here are the 14 CFO moves that Becker's reported on in September:
1. Erika Wier was named CFO of Sierra Vista, Ariz.-based Canyon Vista Medical Center.
2. Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health Northern Region CFO Sean Mills was promoted to senior vice president and CFO of acute services and market operations for the health system.
3. Joshua McFall was tapped as CFO of corporate, retail and nonacute services for Ballad Health. Mr. McFall previously served as CFO for Ballad Health's acute services market operations.
4. Ballad Health also appointed Chase Wilson as CFO of Johnson City Medical Center. He previously served as CFO for four hospitals in the system's southern region.
5. Matthew DuBois was promoted from director of finance for Niagara Falls (N.Y.) Memorial Medical Center to vice president and CFO.
6. Rick Braun Jr., CFO of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center since 2022, was promoted to executive vice president and COO.
7. Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Medical Center tapped Marko Serrano Jr. CFO.
8. Gianluca Salvatori was appointed assistant CFO of West Palm Beach-based HCA Florida JFK North Hospital.
9. Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau, Alaska, named Joe Wanner CEO.
10. Brenda Baker was tapped as vice president of finance and CFO of Norfolk, Neb.-based Faith Regional Health Services.
11. Denver Health appointed April Audain as CFO.
12. Teresa Batchelor was named CFO of UT Health Athens (Texas).
13. Chicago-based CommonSpirit's mountain region appointed Tadd Richert as CFO.
14. Winterset, Iowa-based Madison County Health Care System tapped Audra Ford as its CFO.
