11 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. San Francisco-based Dignity Health tapped Doug Archer to serve as president and CEO of Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, Calif.

2. Paula Autry, CEO of Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Hospital, will be taking on a project CEO role with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.

3. Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care appointed Todd Burch president and CEO of Petoskey-based McLaren Northern Michigan, effective April 29.

4. San Angelo (Texas) Community Medical Center CEO Buddy Daniels is resigning at the end of April.

5. Pickens County Medical Center in Carrollton, Ala., named Jeanette Filpi CEO.

6. Lewes, Del.-based Beebe Healthcare President and CEO Jeffrey Fried left the role March 26.

7. Charles Gijanto, interim CEO of Massena (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital, is no longer employed with the organization.

8. Cherokee (Iowa) Regional Medical Center tapped Gary W. Jordan to serve as president and CEO.

9. Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania Health System appointed Kevin B. Mahoney CEO, effective July 1.

10. St. Louis-based Ascension President and CEO Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, is retiring Dec. 31, ending a 15-year tenure.

11. Lansing, Mich.-based Sparrow Health System confirmed that its CEO, E.W. Tibbs Jr., no longer works at the organization.
