Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.
The moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.
1. Cedar Park (Texas) Regional Medical Center appointed Carl Bo Beaudry CEO.
2. Bluefield (W.Va.) Regional Medical Center tapped Timothy Bess to serve as CEO, effective Feb. 4.
3. Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville, La., appointed Tim Curry CEO.
4. Springfield (Vt.) Medical Care Systems named Joshua R. Dufresne acting CEO.
5. Saad Ehtisham will become CEO of Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., in early March.
6. Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon, Ore., selected Amy Fine to serve as acting CEO, effective Jan. 21.
7. Michael J. Halstead is Springfield (Vt.) Hospital's new CEO.
8. Patricia A. Maryland, DrPH, CEO of St. Louis-based Ascension Healthcare, will leave the organization after a 15-year tenure.
9. Jackson, Calif.-based Sutter Amador Hospital CEO Anne Platt plans to retire March 1.
10. Scott Steiner, CEO of three Detroit Medical Center hospitals, is leaving to take the top executive role at Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Health System.
11. Mercy Hospital in Moose Lake, Minn., hired Michael Youso to the serve as CEO, effective April 2.
