1. St. Louis-based Ascension Health has named Rhonda Anderson as its new senior vice president and CFO, effective Oct. 13.
2. Benjamin Kanter, MD, left his position as CMIO of Palomar Health in Escondido, Calif., to become CMO of Sotera Wireless, a developer of patient monitoring tools.
3. Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center named Robert Cannell, MD, as its interim CMO.
4. United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, W.Va., announced the retirement of CEO Bruce Carter.
5. Wilmington, Del.-based Christiana Care Health System appointed Janice E. Nevin, MD, MPH, as president and CEO.
6. Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System named Edward G. Chadwick executive vice president and CFO.
7. Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Wash., appointed David Knoepfler, MD, as CMO.
8. Tuba City (Ariz.) Regional Health Care Corp. named James Kyle, MD, as its CMO.
9. Michael Toedt, MD, executive director of clinical services at Cherokee (N.C.) Indian Hospital, was named acting CMIO for the Indian Health Service.
10. Subra Sripada, the current executive vice president and chief administrative and information officer at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Mich., is expected to be appointed CIO of the health system created by the merger of Beaumont Health System, Botsford Health Care in Farmington Hills, Mich., and Oakwood Healthcare in Dearborn, Mich.
