Gary Perecko has served as president of Riddle Hospital in Media, Pa., since March 2009. Riddle Hospital is part of Bryn Mawr, Pa.-based Main Line Health.
Prior to taking the top spot at Riddle, Mr. Perecko served as COO of Frankford Healthcare System, now Aria Healthcare System, in Philadelphia. He has more than 20 years of executive healthcare experience under his belt.
Currently, Mr. Perecko is leading Riddle Hospital through a two-phase major expansion of its emergency department. "What we're doing is transforming Riddle Hospital from a very good community hospital to the best," Mr. Perecko said of the ED expansion, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.
Outside of time spent leading Riddle Hospital, Mr. Perecko has served on the boards of several organizations, including the United Way, Family Hospice and the Multiple Sclerosis Service Society.
Mr. Perecko earned a master's degree in public health from the University of Pittsburgh.
